This guide provides a detailed step-by-step process for replacing the 218042A2 and 07C007A2 motor mounts with the new N1124001 motor mounts. Depending on your current machine's cylinder mount, you might need one of the retrofit kits listed below. Approx time to complete work instructions is one hour for one machine.
Safety Precautions
When removing the motors it is important to make sure something is placed underneath it for it does not fall on you as it is being removed by the 4 screws. Also be carful when it comes to going under the machine and watch out for anything sticking out from under the machine for you don't hit your head or arms as it can be tight area underneath the machine sometimes.

Tools Needed
- 6mm Allen Key
- 5mm Allen Key
- 14mm Crescent Wrench
- 12mm Crescent Wrench
- Rubber Mallet
How to Remove 218042A2 or 07C007A2 Motor Mounts
- Remove the Screw with 6mm Allen Key:
- Remove the screw holding the cylinder to the motor mount.
- For 07C007A2: Remove the spacer from the cylinder and the screw with N1127001 once you remove the screw from the motor mount.
- Remove 4 Screws Using the 5mm Allen Key:
- These screws hold the motor in place on the motor mount.
- These screws hold the motor in place on the motor mount.
- Remove the 2 Nuts with the 12mm Crescent Wrench:
- These nuts hold the chain in place on the motor mount.
- These nuts hold the chain in place on the motor mount.
- Remove the 2 Lock Nuts Behind the Motor Mount:
- Use the 12mm Crescent Wrench
- Remove 2 Screws from the Side Drive with the 6mm Allen Key.
- Use the Rubber Mallet:
- Gently hit the two rollers above the motor mount to help remove them from the roller bed.

- Remove 4 Screws Using the 5mm Allen Key:
- These screws remove the motor mount.
- Remove 2 Chain Adjustments with the 14mm Crescent Wrench:
- Do this once the motor mount is removed.
How to Attach the New N1124001 Motor Mount

- Repeat the Previous Steps:
- Follow all the steps used to remove the old motor mounts to attach the new ones.

Ensure Proper Plate Attachment:
- Make sure the 2 plates to attach the motors back to the motor mounts are aligned properly.

Align the Couplers Perfectly:
- Ensure the couplers line up perfectly when adding the side drives back onto the machine. The couplers should be lined up flush to each other with a minor gap in between the two.
