RS22 and RS33 are our most popular operator-fed random size case sealer. They come with top and bottom tape heads to seal both sides of your cartons. 

Questions that we get very often are the following.

• Can I use it as a bottom only sealer?
• Is there a way to use it to seal only the bottom without removing the top tape head?
• What can I do so that the top mast won't come down to seal the top of the box?

Simply follow the steps below and that will answer all the questions above. 

1. Unplug the machine 
2. open the electrical cabinet 
3. Identify the timer 

4. Increase the timer to its maximum

5. Close the electrical cabinet 

6. Identify the paddle located at the entrance side of the top mast 

7. Apply a piece of tape on the paddle so that the limit switch inside is constantly engaging 

8. Plug the machine to the power, turn it on and run a box to test.
