Supports all BestPack polyolefin centerfold shrink films:

• QS-300
• QS-201
• QS-IR

Supported Gauge: 40–75 gauge

Incompatible Films: PVC (generates smoke and odor, not recommended)

Signs of Poor Consumable Use

• Unpleasant smell or smoke
• Inconsistent shrinking or poor seal integrity
• Chamber contamination

Operating Instructions

Start-Up

1. Turn switch to Position 1 (seal only) or Position 2 (seal + shrink)
2. Set seal and shrink timers
3. Manually load product and lower chamber

Shutdown

1. Switch to OFF
2. Allow 20–30 minutes for heat to dissipate before touching machine

Note:

No reset button or emergency stop available.

Maintenance Schedule

Safety Notices

• No E-stop or interlocks
• Manual chamber and heated surfaces present burn risk
• “CAUTION HOT” labels on front and side of chamber
• Wear heat-resistant gloves when operating
• Always unplug for maintenance

Troubleshooting & Observations

• Two magnetic locks manage sealing and shrink timing independently
• Temperature gauge monitors chamber temperature (not the knife)
• Fan operation is tied to shrink timer
• Dog ears on packages may occur with taller items – use lower gauge film to reduce
• Ensure sponge on perforator arm makes proper contact to avoid tracking issues
